Gubloos Game Studio designs and ships casual mobile titles using a specification-first workflow: every mechanic is written down, measured, and tested before a single art asset is produced. The result is games that behave predictably on every device we support.
Our production line is short on purpose. A title only moves forward when the previous stage produces a measurable result, so nothing gets built on an assumption.
The core loop is written as a document before it becomes code — inputs, difficulty curve, session length and failure states are all defined up front.
Every prototype ships with telemetry from day one. We read real completion and drop-off numbers instead of relying on internal playtests alone.
Before release we run the build against low-end hardware, poor networks and interrupted sessions. Stability is treated as a launch requirement.
Our flagship build pairs a match-and-clear core with a light restoration layer. Each cleared board returns a piece of the map, and each restored region introduces a new rule rather than simply scaling the numbers upward.
Levels are capped at roughly three minutes by design, progress saves on every move, and the entire game remains playable without a network connection.
These are the product rules our titles are held to before they reach a store listing.
